Obituary for Margaret A. Schmitt DeSpain
Margaret A. Schmitt DeSpain, 83, made a grand entrance into heaven on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. She retired from Phillip Morris in 1991 and has enjoyed her retirement years with her husband, Charles DeSpain. She was the glue that kept her family together. There was never a stranger that entered her home and every guest was greeted with a warm smile and plenty of food and beverages always being offered. The love for her children and grandchildren was evident in the planning of holiday events, making Easter and Christmas more memorable year after year.
Margaret was preceded in death by four sister, Mary, Helen, Teresa May, Agnus. She is survived by daughter Debbie (Vaughn) Payne, sons, Joe (Joy), Danny, Ronnie, Greg (Terri) and step-children, Karen & Mark (Julie) DeSpain.16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive. Margaret had a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
