Obituary for Christie Witten (Braune)
Witten, Christie Braune, 64, passed away, Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
Christie loved her Jesus and was a faithful member of Southeast Christian Church. To know her was to love her. She was a loving wife, Mamma, "Nannie", sister, and friend.
Christie is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Darryl D. Witten; her daughters, Kellie Pledger (Kirk), Kasie Naville (Jerry) and Kerrie Boswell (JR); and siblings, Stuart Braune (Kimberly), Debbie Carper (Chris) and Mark Braune (Debbie). Nannie so loved and enjoyed her 9 grandchildren, Carson, Jude, Emmie, Ryan, Ben, Landon, Braune, Harrison, and Cate.
Visitation will be 9am-11am Friday, April 8, 2016 at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy, followed by her funeral service at 11am. Burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome expressions of sympathy in the form of contributions to a ministry close to Christie's heart, Portland Christian School, 8509 Westport Rd., Louisville, KY 40242.
