Obituary for Timothy Wayne Tyree

Timothy Wayne  Tyree
Timothy Wayne Tyree, 54, husband of Jenny Montgomery Tyree, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born July 17, 1963 in Owenton, Kentucky the son of Ralph Wayne Tyree and the late Virginia Ann Porter Tyree. Timothy was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked with several city municipal systems including the city of Louisville and Oldham County governments. He was a 28 year member of Lyndon Christian Church and a member of the the German Shorthair Pointer Club of Kentucky. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Besides his wife of 33 years and his father he leaves to cherish his memory, son, Timothy James Hunter Tyree, brother, Jeff Tyree (Janita), step-mother, Joyce Jacobs Tyree, nephews, Tyler Tyree, Joshua Jaburg, Chris Jaburg, Calvin Montgomery, Luke Montgomery and his beloved dogs, Blade, Blackie and Bella.
A service celebrating Timothy’s life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Lyndon Christian Church. Entombment will follow with military honors at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Friday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. and from 10 until service time at the church on Saturday.
As a last unselfish act Timothy donated his corneas as a gift to help restore vision to someone less fortunate, therefore the family has requested in his memory memorial donations to the Lion’s Eye Bank, 301 E. Muhammmad Ali Blvd., Louisville, Ky. 40202 or kylionseye.org
