Don A. McCay, Sr., husband to the late Constance (Hayes) McCay, passed away on Wednesday May 16, 2018 at Baptist Healthcare. He was born to the late Hugh A., Sr. and Helen (Benge) McCay in Richmond, Kentucky on May 8, 1943. He was also preceded in death by an infant son Don A. McCay, Jr., brother Hugh and sister Mary Jo.
Don retired from the restaurant management business after many years.
He is survived by children, Dawn “Jeanne” Hawkins, Dana McCay ( Jake), and Donnie A. McCay, II (Jennifer), along with grandchildren; Alex, Alan, Patrick, Daniel, Nicole, Kelley, Haiden, Don Allen III and great-grandchildren; Sophia, Alannah and Olivia. He is also survived by sisters, Mildred, Bobbie-Jo, and Betty Lou.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 am until time of service.
