Buck Miller
Buck Miller, 73, husband of Dana Miller, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born in Uniontown, PA. February 26, 1944 the son of the late Marling C. & Ermina Wandel Miller Jr.
Buck was retired from Diebold after 30 years and was a member of Southeast Christian Church and attended weekly Bible study there until his health prevented it. He also had a passion for golf.
Having experienced a traumatic brain injury himself he served as a volunteer for the Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund and volunteered at every opportunity for the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky. Buck would talk to anyone affected by brain injury at anytime. For years he was the leader of the support group and always wanted to help others. Buck remained as an ambassador for BIAK and was a BIAK Star Award recipient.
Besides his wife of 49 years he leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Jason Miller (Christine) and Bradley Miller, sister, Lindsay Kromer and grandchildren Abigail & Andrew.
A service celebrating Buck’s life will be held 10:00 am Saturday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Hosparus or the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky.
