Donna L. Stromowsky, 83, loving wife to Philip J. Stromowsky, passed away Saturday March 18, 2017 at Hill Creek Manor Nursing Home. She was born to the late William C. and Martha Eaglin Land in Aurora, Indiana on May 19, 1933. She is also preceded in death by a brother, William V. Land and a sister, Cheri Land.
Donna was a 1951 graduate from Manual High School and was in the real estate business for many years. She lived in Rockville, Maryland for nearly 30 years until returning to Louisville and became a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church where she was an active member of the choir.
Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by their children, Philip J. Stromowsky, Jr. and Jamie L, Fretwill (Mark) along with her grand-daughter, Caitlin Stromowsky. She will also be missed by her sisters, Carolyn Rudolph (Allen) and Melinda Belleville (Herman Collins), sister-in-law, Rosalee Jones (F.G.) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, East, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am until time of service.
