Constance Hayes McCay, 64, wife of Don A. McCay Sr., died Wednesday December 28, 2016 at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born in Louisville, Ky. August 28, 1952 the daughter of the late Cyril & Winifred Hammond Hayes. Connie was a retired administrator with the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
Besides her husband of 35 years she leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Dawn Jeanne Hawkins & Dana Lee McCay and her son, Don A. McCay III (Jennifer), 6 sisters, Joan Chatman, Bonnie Hennessy, Mary Heckel, Theresa Barmore, Betty Hayes and Norma Perry, 4 brothers, Don, Joey, Pat and Rickey Hayes. 8 grandchildren, Alex, Alan, Patrick, Daniel, Nicole, Kelley, Haiden, Don Allen III, and 3 great grandchildren, Sophia, Alannah and Olivia also survive.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Tony & David Hayes.
A service celebrating Connie’s life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Road. Visitation will be from 9:00 am Saturday at the funeral home until service time.
