Obituary for George W. Mangus

George W.  Mangus
George W Mangus, 83, has come home to the Father. He passed away on August 13th , 2016, in Louisville, Kentucky. Born to Frank and Edith Mangus of Salem, OH, on March 5th, 1933.
Preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Lois Wilke Mangus; his older brother, Frank Mangus Jr, of Salem, Ohio; and grandson Tommy Craig. Survived by his children: Mike (Suzanne) Mangus of Clarksville, TN; Steve (Rhonda) Mangus of Greenville, IN; Karen (Terry) Mangus Rogers of Louisville, KY; lifelong friend Bob (Jetty) Martin of Salem, OH; and grandchildren Daniel (Aleisha), Tessa, and Lindsey.
Served in the army during the Korean War Era. Worked as a claims adjuster for Kentucky Farm Bureau for 31 years. Really enjoyed his retired life at Bayside Estates in Fort Myers Beach, FL. Was a ham radio operator NF4Q. Rode his motorcycle all over the U.S. Took many, many family, vacation, and sunset pictures. He was a loving and generous man who loved life and a good joke. He will be missed by all those whose life he touched.
