Obituary for Betty S. Lowe (Doyle)

Lowe, Betty Sue (Doyle), 80, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016.

Betty was born September 1, 1935 in Louisville, KY. She graduated from Manual High School in 1953 and worked for a number of years for Holland Income Tax. Betty was a lifelong and active member of the Baptist Church. Betty was beloved by a large and extended family whom she charmed with an ever ready smile, a gentle spirit, and a tremendous love for Christ. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Doyle, her husband, Charles Edward Lowe and by a precious young daughter, Kelli Sue.

She is survived by her son Kevin Brian Lowe, his wife Sharon; and their two daughters Tara and Rachel Lowe; four brothers, Jack (Sandy), Rodney (Carol), George (Beckey), and David (Mary) Doyle and their families; three brothers-in-law, Paul (Faye), Richie (Bea), and James (Cheryl) Lowe, and their families.

Family and friends of Betty will gather from 1-3pm on Sunday January 24th at Southside Baptist Church 804 Camden Avenue followed by a memorial service at 3pm. Betty will be buried at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Southside Baptist Church.
