Obituary for William G. "Bill" Russell
Russell, William Lewis Geiger "Bill", 70, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Episcopal Church Home.
Preceded in death by parents, Betty Ford Russell and Charles Mead Russell of Ashland, KY.
Survived by his wife, Mary Ann Russell; son, William Devin Russell (Jenn); brother, Charles Russell (Peggy) of Stuart, FL; sister, Marianna Love (Ray) of Paradise, CA; sisters in-law, Paula Weller and Linda MacCallum (John); much loved grandchildren, Will and Arianna and many nieces and nephews.
Bill graduated in 1967 from the University of Kentucky with a degree in chemical engineering. He had many interests including nature, traveling, photography and astronomy. He loved University of Kentucky football and basketball. The family would like to thank the nurses, cna's and other staff of the Clingman Neighborhood for providing excellent care and much respect and dignity to Bill during his ilness. We also would like to thank Dee's Senior Home Care Staff and Hosparus for your help.
Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Parkinson's Support Center, 315 Townepark Circle, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.
