Obituary for Houston D. Jones Jr.
Houston Dorsey Jones Jr. , 67, of Louisville, KY, passed from this life into eternity at his home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.
He was a beloved father who loved Jesus, his family and restaurants. He was the President and Broker of the The Houston Group dedicating his career and life to his passion, developing and designing restaurants in the Louisville area. Houston’s children and his grandchildren were the joy of his life. He recently helped raise funds to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for a dear friend. His passion and zeal for life and people will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his son Houston D. Jones III and his parents Houston D. Jones Sr. and Sarah F. Jones.
He is survived by his children Brian Jones (Greta), Neal Jones (Cheryl), Sarah Burnett (Josh), Lydia Schmitt (Paul), and Seth Jones; brother Doug Jones (Dee); sister Marian Stevens (Brian); 11 grandchildren
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
